Powertec's 4.3-10 series 5W Terminator, 698 to 3800 MHz are designed to absorb RF energy from unused ports on passive components. This terminator supports frequencies up to 3800 MHz and has a 4.3-10 Male connector, making it ideal for 5G NR3500 systems. The male connector allows attachment directly to the Female ports on passive components such as hybrids, couplers, and power dividers. With a PIM rating down to -155 dBc the terminator is suitable for modern PIM sensitive DAS and IBC systems. Terminators, also known as loads or dummy loads, are used to dissipate RF energy without radiating electromagnetically. They are used to cap-off unused ports on couplers and dividers, maintaining the device’s impedance and VSWR specification.
