The Poynting WaveHunter Cross-Polarised, High Gain, Multi-Directional, 5G/LTE, Multi MIMO Marine & Coastal Antenna was created out of our experience of the current line-up, the evolution in cellular connectivity, and the feedback we got from the market. We wanted to look at the best possible combinations without constraint in size or parameters when designing it. WaveHunter is the highest performing 5G antenna dome ever designed in the industry, meant to be installed on vessels, where you can house your 4/5G routers inside.
The design of the Poynting WaveHunter Cross-Polarised, High Gain, Multi-Directional, 5G/LTE, Multi MIMO Marine & Coastal Antenna will allow data connections to be Faster, Smoother, and Furthest from Shore, than ever before. The WaveHunter™ was not designed for a particular type of vessel. It will find its purpose on all sorts of vessels, from Passenger vessels to Cruise Liners, to Superyachts, and even on ferry boats! The WaveHunter is for those – BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS - who are NOT willing to settle for second best! It is meant: For the ones who want to REACH FURTHER! The Poynting WaveHunter™ enclosure is designed to fit a variety of router and networking modules, transforming the antenna enclosure into a CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) – just add your own LTE/5G routers and networking equipment. The WaveHunter™ enclosure can accommodate two routers up to the size of 250 x 150 x 50 mm³ mounted directly to the base. Additional equipment can be added within a stacked customized user-supplied frame. The Poynting WaveHunter™ antenna enclosure uses our world-renowned Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) technology from our XPOL-2-5G antenna. The antenna array consists of 12 cross-polarised, high gain, 2x2 MIMO directional antennas arranged in two stacked arrays offset at 60° increments. This provides 360° wideband coverage from 617 to 960 MHz and 1710 to 4200 MHz, with a peak gain of 11 dBi, making it ideal for Multi-router LTE & 5G bonded and aggregated deployments. The enclosure was also designed to withstand adverse weather conditions, making the antenna weatherproof and waterproof with an IP65 rating.
